I haven't found a 501 replacement wideangle led sidelight yet that I consider bright enough, any ideas?

Adrian - what about www.laminaceramics.com

are they any good?

How about ICELED for sidelights then (or even fogs for that matter)? I mean putting a gem inside the headlamp cluster is quite a task so a simple replacement would be pretty cool. Not quite sure how it'd link up to the UFO thou :?

not really as they are designed properly so that they consume as little current as possible.. look at the tron for the best example.. 100mA MAX CURRENT!! so they should love it really.. ;)

cheers
